Hopefully no one has tried to start it yet.
You need to disconnect the power from the distributor and turn the oil pump for awhile to get some lubrication in the engine.
Change the oil first.
If it was good before, you'll suck the life right out of it trying to start it as is.
From there you may have someone check out the carb.
If there is old gas in the tank/lines/fuel pump you need to get it cleaned out, but otherwise don't need to replace unless you have a problem.
You've got a big and expensive job ahead of you.

Having the engine turn over is a very important step and it is great that you have this happening! Your next step should be to replace any cracked hoses and belts that have rotted over the years because putting new fluid into old hoses does no good. Next you should drain all engine oil, coolant, and the gas tank. When finished, change the oil filter and the gas filter, then replace the fluids. Change the spark plugs, ignition wires, and distributor cap being very careful not to mix up the position of each wire and spark plug. Removal of the carburetor is a good idea for the sake of cleaning out any animal nests that may have been formed in or below it. Also, when you have the carburetor off it should be sprayed liberally with carburetor cleaner. This should get you well on your way to having a working engine and even though it sounds like a lot, it will keep the engine from being damaged when it is started. Have a blast!

Hey Best in Racing, You have a collector and you know it....
I would start from scratch and go from one end to the other. The engine being a pancake should have all fluids drained and Rislone put in 3 - 5 qts. Let that sit for a few days or even a week. Then hand turn over the engine. This way you prevent damaging it. Once you see it is turning OK you just let it sit until you review all wiring and replace all ignition components. Then suspension.....After 26 years you are looking at a total rebuild not a quick change the battery and drive it to work....But you do have an investment and a collector. Good find...

Change all the plugs and wires and gas and oil and get a good battery. When the plugs are out , put about an ounce of "marvel mystery oil" into each cylinder, let it sit overnight then try to turn motor over BY HAND. Dont forget to change oil and gas filters!
be patient you have a collectors car there
If you have money to "burn" have it professionally restored

remove the plugs and squirt a little oil in each cylinder and put the plugs back in. and spin the motor back over a few times, whats happened is it has lost its compression this will build it back up. and it should start.
