I have known him for about 1 year now and i wasnt really into him until now. Hes kind of shy and a real gentleman so i cant tell if he likes me or not. he makes eye contact all the time usually when he is talking to me and he strikes up conversations occasionally using some odd subjects that we just seem to have in common.
We constantly have little blips and pauses when no one is talking and it gets really weird.
Does he like me? Or...What is the best way to tell him I really like him?

You should ask him if he would like to hang out some time. some times getting a friend involved cand get messy and acward. being forward about likeing someone is very scary and intimidating but the worst that can happen is he says no he just likes you as a friend. but it sounds like he does like you and if that is the case you will probebly feel real good with yourself for being able to talk to him. It is up to you to desided what you should say but i am sure you will do fine. good luck.
