ok, so there was this song that we used to sing at karaoke....all I can remember is it was a female with a really loud high pitched voice, and I think there were some lyrics about space???? Help!!! It's driving me crazy. It was a pretty but kind of disturbed song, and it had to be between 1995-1998 I think, it was before my son was born in 98.....I know it's not much to go on, but I am having a total mental block, any help would be greatly appeciated

ok, I think it was like early alternative, but might have been considered pop/rock

it was definately a one hit wonder type song, and in order to sing it you had to be able to get your voice really high up, it was similar to Sinade O'conner, that style anyway

I'm putting down some mid-late 90s female singers that may fit the bill. Or maybe one will help jog your memory?

Republica - "Ready To Go"
Fiona Apple
No Doubt (Gwen Stefani)
The Cranberries
Aimee Mann
Tori Amos
Garbage
