need help on a game issue ?

when i try to play a game a lot of times ity comes on then goes back to the tool bar and when i click it again the screen goes black and it goes back to the tool bar thhis happens with all the games but mostly with snes games i think it could be that i have a lot of stuff running any ideas

Turn off everything but the game, or get ya some more Ram :)
