thanx to the people who were nice and said it would look good or said it is unique and other good things like that.some people were mean and I now think that they're sluts..well,the ones who mentioned the "tramp stamp" thing...but any way, thanks!

I was also thinking about getting it on the bottom of my foot, but that would be stupid and it would hurt....

The lower back tattoo is an ok idea. Heck Everybody else has one.. why not you. I don't know about the "Made in California" part though. THAT might look a bit tacky. But if done right I guess it might be ok.
But on the bottom of your foot... "Made in the USA" or Made in California, USA" or something like that would be really funny. Especially if you have a barcode put on there. AND it would be easily hidden for times at work or whatever.

Bottom line is, it's your body. You're the one that has to live with it. Although normally I would say, you're the one that has to look at it, but with it on your back, you'll hardly ever see it.

EDIT: BTW, although i've heard it called a "tramp stamp," I know a lot of guys that just call it a "target."

Ive thought about having Tattoos , and as of yet at 41 years old , I have none , I can understand people Tattooing themselves with a true representation of art , however I would rather where a T shirt that displays the same thing , you are still reflecting your likes and dislikes by doing so . I like art that can be removed or displayed at will . Tattoos are to permanent . Not to mention the fact that what you are contemplating is not art , it is an immature erg you will regret in years to come .
In my Teens I wanted a Swan Song Tattoo , which is the label found on Led Zeppelin LP's , all I can say now is I'm glad I did not

Well, at the very least, think about it. For weeks, months, years. It's there forever, so BE SURE.

Also, "Slag Tags", "Tramp Stamps" or whatever are very cliche tattoos. The placement could be more creative, so think about that too. Because about a million girls have those damned tattoos, and you want to be unique!

I disagree with people that say that you shouldn't get tattooed because the tattoos will look crappy when you're old. It's not that the supposition is incorrect, but the truth is that NO ONE is going to look good when they're 80, tattoo or otherwise. If you do end up getting one, take care of it so it won't look like crap when your 30, because that can happen.

Any tattoo on the lower back is NOT cool, or a good idea. They are commonly called 'Tramp Stamps'.. and saying 'Made in California' makes no sense there.????? I would rather have that on my arm!!

NO!!!! When I turned 18 I went to a tattoo parlor to get a tattoo on my lower back & thanks to my boyfriend at the time I was talked out of it... now almost 8 years later I am so thankful for that decision. Tatoos look like beautiful art when you're young, but as you get older it just looks trashy. Get a piercing... once you grow out of it, the hole closes & you won't have signs of a dumb decision you made when you were young;-)

One last thing... I know my share of people, men and women that regret getting one!

My question is why? I mean of all the things that you could put there why that? I had a beautiful one put on my back. I wanted it to be something that I would like to look at for the rest of my life. And it is. It is absolutely beautiful. A good artist and common sense you can have something you would be proud of for the rest of your life. Otherwise you may regret it and they are hard to remove and usually ugly afterward.

Of course it's a good idea! It's cute and personal. I think it's great to get a tattoo that has a significance to it... I got a celtic cross on my shoulder when I was sixteen and I'm really glad that I did!!

Tattoos on the low back are referred to as "tramp stamps" and are on the way out. If you can live with that, then go ahead.

No. This MADE IN CAli is going to be on your back when you are 70. Not going to be cute. Just dorky and unworth it. If you must get a tattoo nothing with words or to big. TRUST ME!!!!
