It is easier to blame someone than try and find real solutions to problems. Bush is not a great president but he isn't as bad as everyone thinks.

They have been blinded by the ideology.

Try the Dirty Politics and shared of opinionated pages. It seems when the timing is right, or left, we bash President Bush. As if he has ever been investigated or questioned regarding illegal operations. His staff resigns or Generals fired. SO as the layers unpeel there is little blame left. But Left to no other alternatives many find it easier to complain and not explain. I find it more interesting that now with Clinton failing in the same polls she boasts of people are bashing those of us who attempted to present an education regarding Candidate Clinton. Real life Clinton Administration? The first Iraq War under Clinton? As if Bush was the only President ever and is running against Clinton now??? I believe in your concerns. Fight thru them myself daily. But some are hearing. The rest just talk no listen. God forbid provide a debate! Aloha. edit: Take a poll of Democrats who still say the second war in Iraq is not working? Have they read Iraq wants the US to stay? Sen McCain spent Turkey day there. Syria & Iran still sending in IED & suicide bombers yet Al Qaeda is on the run. Ask if people know that or the propaganda they get fast food fed, reality TV news? This is an election season. Playing the dump Republican card via Bush has been well orchestrated. WHat do you really think 300 mill pays for anyways? Sandwiches ?

I think you mean "scapegoat." I don't know what you mean by "invelents" - maybe you meant "invalids" which would mean people who are crippled. Maybe you meant "insolents" which I suppose would be people who are insolent. It's all good. Not trying to offend you, I'm just a literature-head.

I guess Bush gets bashed mainly because he is the President. Every President has gotten bashed by the press, opposing parties, and the public, even Washington. Although in Washington's case, they were more gentle at first, because he was so venerated by all. But during his second term he was criticized a lot more, and then after he retired, he REALLY got bashed, although nowhere near as bad as Adams and many other succeeding Presidents. [note: Adams even tried to keep the press quiet with the "Sedition Act," and that just made them bash him even more...]

I think it just comes with the job.

Love, Jack.

A little poly sci lesson and some history for you. Bush is the president and that makes him in charge of everything and when things go wrong he is at fault, by either appointing the wrong people to a job or by making the decision himself from his advisers. This is true of any president. Harry Truman had a plaque on his desk that says the Buck stops here and this is and should be very true. Bush does not live up to this as he does not admit his mistakes nor does he try to correct them. That really does make him the worst president in my memory.

If you are the legitimately responsible for causing the problem how is that being a scapegoat?

Who decided to bomb Iraq? Bush!
Who fabricated the weapons of mass destruction threat? Bush!

It's called accepting responsibility for your actions. Something that the Republican party knows very little about.
Instead they are masters of shifting the blame........

The solution is to have Bush impeached, get big business patsies out of the offices in Washington and replace them with people who care about our country, not their wallets.

The only way to do this is to keep pointing out mistakes and errors and blatant disregards for the law they commit as they make them.

The goal is to make enough people agree that we need to overhaul our government before it becomes WWII Germany.

I agree with Coragryph too. We aren't blaming Bush for the weather....but his lack of speed when it comes to the weather. Remember Katrina and how slow he was to send help. 80% of Congress voted yes based on lies and fictional WMD. They were also under the assumption that we were after Bin Laden (something else Bush has forgotten).
We are not complaining about the standard of living, we are complaining how much it has slid since he wreaked havoc on our economy (I guess you have the money for gas, inflated living costs, taxes). And our politicians are as corrupt as any.
As far as fixing it...we are trying. Trying to find alternative fuels, help for the homeless, the victims, the high cost of living.....WE ARE TRYING!!
Now what else you got???

1. nobody is blaming him on the weather..... he is being blamed on his incompetence he showed after the storm!!!!!!!

2. 80% did not vote for a war.... they voted for the use of "force" after all means of diplomacy have been exhausted.... it was and always should be a last choice.... not a first!!!!!

3. just because we have the highest standard of the world doesn't mean we are doing everything right!!!!!! we complain because we want a better America!!! don't you???

4. bush is not a scape goat he is the product of the reality he himself has created..... and stating facts doesn't make you a bush-basher.... it just makes you sane........
