LIGHT, LIGHT, LIGHT pink/brown spotting on the day period is due?

I thought this month I could possibly be pregnant, so I waited to get my period. I went to the bathroom this morning and I saw a VERY, VERY light pink when I wiped (not even blood, just a little pink on the toilet paper, mixed with the pee (not from my urinary tract)....Well, I thought I was going to get my period, but then I went pee about 3 hours later and it looked like there was the same amount of "color" when i wiped, but this time, it was brown looking and in my cervical mucous....later on about 4 hours later, I went pee again and this time, I had very clear, slippery mucous when I wiped and the color was completely gone. My period was due today!! What could it be?

i would wait a few days and see what happens I've had that same thing and it was just that my period was changing. just wait and see if not change then take a test

a little bit of blood from the lining of the uterus could come out when the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall, that, or it's just pre-period spotting

it could be implantation bleeding but it could also be just your period starting up...wait for a day or two if you'll get your period then take a pregnancy test =)

It could be implantation bleeding when the embryo implants into the uterus after conception. I would take a pregnancy test :)
