I mean, I watch them when I'm at the beauty shop orwhen there's nothing else showing on my off days, but that's it. I rather watch a good comedy.

No I only watch them when I'm too sick to follow anything else.
I much prefer comedy, travel and current affairs.

I dislike soap operas. I have seen a few in my life because I female relatives who love them. If I am home in the day, I switch over to something on cable because there is nothing but really "bad" soap operas on network TV. (by "bad" I mean over dramatic and predictable story-lines with over-reacting actors playing the parts and way too many beautiful people who don't exist in the real world)

They are sooooo fake. I hardly ever watch them. I teach so I might watch them while I'm cleaning or whatever during Christmas, then during the summer when I'm off If I turn one back on the same stuff is happening. It's like their day dragged on for 6 months.

Me too. My dad's girlfriend loves them (she takes lunch at work based on what time her soap is on), but there's no appeal there for me.
I have to be sick in bed and have too high a fever to have enough energy to reach the remote to change the channel in order to watch one.

You're not alone, you are not alone. Life isn't all that dramatic unless you want it to be. But if you want to see the outcome of all that drama: watch Maury, the court shows...take your pick. They all seem like comedies to me!
