The Modern Library Classics Version was $13.95 at Borders and worth it. It handles well, the pages stay open, and the translation by Constance Garnett is good. My husband and I both read and loved it. It's easier than you think to read, just take it 1 chapter at a time and before you know it you'll be looking forward to the next page until you're done!

There is no way to determine if the copywright date and the ISBN are the same on a book you can't see. It could be some dimwit 9 year old trying to sell it.
