Why do children's friends yell at their parents in front of them at their friends house?

I was wondering why some people's friends yell at their parents in front of visitors? I had a friend like that who would yell at her parents in front of me and some other friend. I think it's very annoying that I had a friend like that before. I am nolonger her friend but she has family problems.

If that was my son or daughter who behaved like that in front of anyone he or she get a slap across the face and never embarrass me again or behave like that in public
