Unless you created a DUAL BOOT system, you'll need either your Windows Install Disc or perhaps your computer's ReCOVERY DISC\s

If u have already installed Linux and XP then u only need to choose XP at the start up. If u have only Linux, then u need to reinstall XP by using a XP CD.

Once you change out windows XP, you have lost everything, and in order to get window's XP back you will have to install it all over again by using the Windows XP CD or on line. Now before you change back over again, if you have some important files, photos, documents,Etc. you need to make copies to a floppy disk or CD so that you can save it, then once you have install windows XP, then you can copy the files back into your system..

You should try dual booting. it enables the user to switch from linux to windows or vice versa, This is effective in multi tasking different operating systems. And a good way to venture on both os.
