Do you have a conrolling cat, dog, bird, fish? Does it irritate you or do you enjoy their attempts to make you do what they want?

Lol!..So funny cuz my cat is my child to me..lol..She thinks she is human at times, throws a fit if one of us leaves the apt. When she is naughty,ie: knocking my phone off the dresser-everynight this past week-,knocking off the box of tissues and then pulling them out and shredding them grrrrrrrrrrrrr, she does not get to play in the water and if she escapes the apt., she looses her nummies for the whole day -I'm soooooooooo mean like that..lol. Everytime I go near the bathroom she heads for the sink for me to turn on so she can play in it-she gives me the "stare" until i do..lol..and meows if I say I'm headed to bed and then don't right away..lol..her way of sayin hurry up mama go to bed so I scare the crap out of you by knocking stuff off of your dresser or using you for a landing board lol... She does irritate me at times, but I love her and would do anything to keep her happy= she has millons of toys, a scratch pad, etc. to keep her happy and of course she has 2 window seats to sit in so she can look outside..lol

yes my dog muffin controls me and my dog coconut by always having an additude of "im gonna do what i want" she drags my other dogs by the tags on her collar down a few stairs so that she can play with her, though the one dog is older... she lets her because she is so obediant , also she will open the glass door to go outside and she will get in the car and want to go with us. Before we go on our boat she will sit in the car or almost 3 hours sometimes so taht she makes sure we dont leave her at home. ( though that has never happened ) its all probably because we spoil her and she has her own clothes and everything, but i can totally understand that a mini poodle get pampered. Yes i fully enjoy her controlling me, its fun to watch her and laugh because she think shes in charge.

My dogs have all sorts of techniques to try to get us to do what they want. I am usually highly amused. If it gets annoying, my dog's are obedient enough to stop. I don't always give them their way because 1) it isn't good for them to eat treats 24/7 and 2) I need to be the one in control and not them. But there are a lot of times when I let them have their way if they are funny enough. One of my dogs gets the most pathetic look on her face and cocks her head. I love it!

I have 14 dogs, 5 cats, a turtle, a horse, and own a shelter that currenlty has about 43 dogs/cats. So YES my animals definitely control me!

At times it does feel great to surrender and have our animal take over. It takes away burden of responsibility which at times can be pressing, so even if it lasts a few moments, the experience is priceless.

My three pit bulls know they don't have a chance of controlling me. They have been to obedience classes and are very well behaved dogs.
Any one of the three can be given the command to sit and stay and they will will for as long as it takes until I give the command to come.
So I can't really appreciate your question.

My BF's dog is always being extremely annoying and we live together when it's just her and I here I make her behave BUT when hes home she basically runs the show. When we try to talk she starts barking OR wants attention it's a bit ridiculous. I tell her to shut up & she knows I mean business!

Eh, it's a give and take relationship. If I feed and play with them, pet them, pay attention to them, they'll come curl up around my head and purr me to sleep at night. 50/50

I know you must think I'm crazy but these pets of mine are pets that only a King can control, but I do all eleven to my best ability!!!
