i personally read because it takes me to different places. when i read i feel im in another world. and since i dont get to travel much i can travel through books.

Reading actually adds to your intelligence. Reading various books, magazines, newspapers, Internet sites and even novels can give you different perspectives on the world and what other people think of things. This actually adds to your own knowledge and I believe you become a more balanced, well rounded individual.

we read to educate ourselves and thus advance society. We also read because we are bored and because we are forced to. We also read so that we can make informative decisions ourselves instead of people on TV doing so
