I'd say somewhere in between...but closer to the "Gift from God" side.
Marijuana IMO is less destructive than alcohol. I know MANY successful adults who smoke pot. You would never suspect. They are not dumb stoners, they smoke in moderation and do not drive on it.
I certainly don't think kids should be doing it though.

I believe it is an herbal gift from God for human use. There is no recording in the bible of this plant being in hell. Perhaps you must have been there yourself to ask about a plant with roots in hell.
No - one has been to hell and came back and said what was there. So all plants are from God.

I believe that all plants on the earth are for our benefit.
We just haven't found the corect use for some of them yet. There has been some research concerning marijuana as a medication for nausea caused by chemotherapy. Also there was research done some time ago on using tobacco for more than one medicinal purpose. However, the way both plants are currently being used. is of the devil.

Considering I don't believe in either heaven or hell, I'd say it's just a plant that's better off left alone. People need to quit abusing substances and deal with their lives like the rest of us.
For those who do think it's a gift from God, however...just because he created it doesn't mean it's a good thing. Maybe it's a test to see who can resist such things and would truely strive to be good people. :)

All things are gift from God but it depends on how you use it. Marijuana (hemp) make great rope and material. It is only when smoked or eaten that it's use is not good. I also think that tabacco is good at times. But not when smoked. When you take tobacco leaves and wrap them on horses legs when hurt they actually help heal. Amazing what we could do with plants when used correctly.

It might have some medicinal properties but has been abused as a casual drug of illegitimate use. Hemp fibre still makes the finest rope going irrespective of all the nylon on earth. The world is filled with many things. Including gravity. It is not recommended that you swan dive off the Empire State Building.

in case you think in God and that God created all issues for the great factor about guy, you ought to comprehend he also created undesirable predators, really poisonous flowers, between different issues. And as for the previously Corinthians quote, remember, that became a _letter_ to the Corinthians because of their habit, no longer a actuality to all of mankind. yet, I nevertheless imagine marijuana should be felony, yet no longer over-the-counter. i'd re-evaluate that stance, because that I easily have a sturdy pal from Amsterdam, and he reported it became ironic because the stuff became so accessible, maximum children did not fairly smoke it that a lot if in any respect.
