Pakistani's don't have the same Naming techniques as the Arabs. The Arabs use bin blah blah which means son of blah blah. When a woman marries a pakistani guy she gets his family name and his first name as his middle name.

For example:
Her maiden name: Sophie Smith
His name: Akthar Mohammed Khan

Her new name: Sophie Akthar Khan

The boy's name may very likely be Abdul or Mohammed. And the gorl's name may be Noor. (for "she has seen the light".
The lady gets 2 fully paid hours of the psychiatirist's time on me.
She has just traded a social position of reasonable equality, for women, to a status little short of personal property. The kids when she gets her divorce. will end up in Pakistan and the girls married off at 12 or 13 years of age. The govt. authorities will stall the custody proceedings until the girls are unloaded. (to a man no choice of their own). & mom will be lucky if she ever sees them again.
You have to wonder about a culture where men squat on top of a toilet seat when they have to urinate.
