i've read that he got caught by the cops drunk driving and they had a couple of people who said they didn't like him anymore and they would never work with him ever again. i understand what he did was stupid but we all make mistakes and i think it had to be more than drunk driving that made so many people dislike him. if anyone knows what i'm talking about, tell me what the real deal is.

He was puuled over for drunk driving and made anti-Semitic remarks. He said the Jews were the cause of all the wars in the world and asked the cop if he was a Jew.

' Like' is a subjective word in business generally. Invidiousness runs hard on the heels of that. Yes, he's human. He makes mistakes. This disqualifies him from godhood. Besides, they job's been filled. The only other concern is the kind of pressures high profile types never talk about. And they are considerable.

people need to dislike someone. The Tom Cruise subject is getting old. So, on to the next celebrity to do a human error in public. Please, who hear can honestly say they have NEVER made a derogatory remark about someone when they are drunk? No one. He's human. He screwed up. Everyone knows someone who has received a DUI.

I don't dislike Mel Gibson now and never have. What happened is his personal business. Did some people suddenly dislike Elton John when they found out he's gay?

well it was reported that he made some pretty graphic anti-Semite remarks upon his arrest. I don't think people like to think of Mel Gibson, family man, maker of religious movies, as someone who hates Jewish people. It's kind of shocking if it is true.

Well, he made a big mistake in more ways than one, but I say give him a break. We've all, (and I do mean ALL), said things we really didn't mean, and are truly sorry for it now. He's human like the rest of us.

Because he may be a Jewish bigot and by stating that the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world. My opinion of this situation is to just move on love him or hate him.

I think its more the fact that he clearly showed that he is racist against Jews. Lets face it people; the truth comes out when your drunk. A bit crazy of him since Jesus himself was a Jew.
