It's been proven that in long term relationships, it is the woman who sets the tone of the relationship, so..............it goes to reason that if you have a selfish bastard, it was you who made him that way, unless........he was a selfish bastard before you got him, in which case.....YOU MARRIED HIM!!!!!
Which could be the case, why do women marry men that they plan to change anyway? Men are who and what they are, if he isn't what you want when you find him, don't marry him!!!!
Men are simple creatures, it's been said by women for ages; "they only want one thing!!"
If that's true, why can't women seem to get that one thing right???
Don't go thinking I'm some kind of chauvinist or misogynist, I'm not. Male/Female relationships are some major kinda messed up lately.

My husband is by nature a selfish bastard..... Lately, I have been doing things for myself (going out and leaving him with the kid for a change, getting a new full-time job with good pay, cut my hair, bought new clothes, etc), he realized what I was doing and started being more respectful and thoughtful. I wonder why : )

Lol, define selfish bastard? My fiance is still a bit immature & selfish. He hasn't yet grown into a man who puts his family first especailly in financial aspects. That's why I prefer to work full time so I don't have to depend on him.

A lot of husbands are selfish but so are Wives...... so lets not bash all husbands cause females are just as bad

Why do women like bad boys and dump the good guys. Then expect us to be good guys and when they can't change us they call us S.B. First of all you know who you picked so stop trying to change us. Go to therapy and find out why you make such stupid crappy decisions.

Most of them are to an extent. Mine is pretty nice though. He takes the children out of my hair so I can have some private time.
