On Nov.2 1969 I had the displeasure of handling a human that had burnt to death in a helicopter that was shot down, the other three crew members would fit in a shopping bag they where so badly burnt, I picked this man up and slid him into the helicopter and wiped the flesh off my hands on the side of the ship, we flew him to a fire base and once again after handling him I had to wipe the flesh from my hands. I could still smell him on my hands for days. I do not want to burn. To see what the rest of my day was like go to Troop B 7-17th Air Cav-RUTHLESS RIDERS and click on Nov. 2 1969

I think being burned to death is scarier because there's no chance of escape. I think if one is buried alive there may be the glimmer of hope that you might be able to survive or escape.

Being buried cause there will seem to be no hope. But burning
gives you an attempt to save yourself, like fall down and roll the
fire off of you or grab some type of clothing and roll or jump into
some water. In the grave you can do nothing but wait to die or hope someone finds you and that is indeed scary as hell.

Being buried alive would be horrible! You would inevitably try to claw your way out, probably waste all your air by screaming, and have to slowly suffocate to death. Burning would be unbearably painful, no doubt, but at least it would be relatively quick when compared to being buried alive.

Being trapped in a tiny box, unable to stretch, being eaten by maggots...
or...
It's getting hot in here, I'm suffocating, lemme out.
I hope they have cut me to bits first to check I'm dead first. That's all I can say. If they can operate on people that are not properly anthetised, then surely you could be buried alive or burnt alive. I hope not. Burning would knock you out, whereas suffocation would be horrid.
I should be in bed, not answering such...just to be funny.

Didn't this happen in a bond film? How did he get out? I think on tv it must be edited down?

Burned, it really is slow, painful and scary to optimal human beings. besides the straightforward undeniable actuality that with being buried it really is more desirable of a psychological discomfort, and at the same time because it quite is a slower and surer lack of life, you would possibly want to although have that desire that someone will connect the dots and make certain out you're there.
