Corporate is selling my company to another public company, where will I find what to watch out for?

I am looking for website, books or other places where I might find information of what I should be concerned about. I do not have an employment contract.

There's a whole lot of "it depends" in that one. The combined company won't need two entire HR departments, or other departments like that. They will need the people who are actually on the ground working and producing. If the company buying yours has an office close to yours, they won't need both, but may combine them.

As a general rule, the higher up you are, the more likely you will lose your job in a merger.
