The roots of the issues are very logical. It makes a lot of sense. If you follow it helps teen pregnancy, early marriage resulting in early divorce.

Navigator - Unborn child? By definition you are talking about a child out of wedlock. Leykis would say you messed up badly, getting someone pregnant before marriage. It is so obvious the world doesn't need another child born without love. He'd say hail-marry play!!

I have always wanted to try the dinner date theory. To stay in budget, eat at home before the date, then order first and order a salad as females aren't likely to eat more than you. I find this brilliant and funny. Then heard females admit to Leykis they do the same. Yeah - they eat before the dinner date too!

Oh my God. Memory lane from way back. Your question just opened up pathways in my brain that otherwise would have remained shut for a long time to come. When I lived in CA and my mom and I drove around (we were always driving somewhere) she would listen to Tom Leykis on the radio. I vaguely remember him chastising a lady who would rather die than abort a baby that would kill her if she delivered it. He was calling her "crazy" and he told her she was "insane." Actually, that is my only memory of Tom Leykis other then the sound of his voice. Thanks for asking that question. If I had thought of him on my own I probably would have wondered if he was still around or not.

Well, I listen to Tom and I find most of his advice on women spot-on. For instance, although I don't agree that one should never get married...I do agree with him that you shouldn't marry before you're 25 and shouldn't marry before you achieve what you want out of life....my father told me this years ago before I even knew of Tom Leykis. Most of his advice, I've heard before, from my father and other male figures in my life. One major difference....my father says don't spend more than $20 on a date....Tom is way too generous.

I thought it was funny whenever he got kicked in the head and put in the hospital a couple of years ago.

I wrote him an email and suggested that he should start a new theme for his show..."Kick Tom in the Head Tuesdays"....he never wrote me back, probably because that kick knocked the final bit of sense out of him.

I was listening to the show befor few days and I have to say he have the dumbest most selfish person I have ever heard. I heard him tell a man to do what was best for him and not what was best for his unborn child.

My thoughts are that I certainly hope he is saying all those things as a comedy act - to make people laugh. Otherwise, it's just rude.
