If your single Mom is dating someone you don't like, the reason you don't like him is because he's a neat freak , controlling attitude sometimes but he loves you and care about your safety you known him for over 2 years your mom seem happy but she ask you what you think because they may get married. what would be your feelings if you were in that situation?

If I was in that situation I'd feel happy that he's trying to do his job. At least he's not as bad as a lot of people, and he's not abusive. Really I don't see anything wrong with it, or why you hate him. He's controlling because he fears for your safety, and doesn't want you to get hurt in any way. I think you'd be lucky if your single mom does marry him because that's better than many other options.
If there really is something suspicious about him you don't feel comfortable with but aren't sure what, you should tell your mom. I'm sure she will understand because she's your mother.

I know how you feel. I was in that situation when my mom dated that same kinda guy for 4 years. He had the nerve to ask me if he could ask my mom to marry him.. and what did i say? no. then he got mad at me, but he asked me my opinion, so i couldnt lie. Just tell your mom how you feel... if she really loves you, she'll know if hes right for your family or not,,,

well I have been in that situation and I told my mom how I really felt. she would never marry someone that her children werent comfortable with. she talked to him and we made a compromise, but eventually she dumped him. the point is that no one has to sufer, tell her how you really feel and you can all make a compromise. good luck

Well, I would tell her sure, since she is happy. But that you guys should set some standards between you and your new dad..so that things don't go crazy. Negotiate on things that really bug the both of you.!!

well 1st off i would want my mother to be happy.
If she was happy with her guy then i would put up with him.
I would just tell her that i didnt care to be around him that much.
Communication is the key and if u wait too long to talk to her about it, it might be too late.
