Hello Everyone... I'm reading some of these answers and everyone is getting a little too deep here.... That question before "the lesbian goddess" she was totally frustrated... Even if you’re straight you all know why. I try to ask a question on a form that is for gay/ lesbian/bi/ transgender and you get all these burn in hells, you sinner, I'm a married straight man and your asshole. This is a section for us to communicate with each other, to help on another... I wouldn’t go to the cooking section if all I wanted to do was burn food.... Please tell me you all aren’t frustrated as well....Please all the straight people that support us, friends, please who belong on here.. Do you not understand why I could be frustrated?

If you want to see classic lack of compassion come to this section! I'm like you in that I come here to communicate with my gay/lesbian family but unfortunately as in any family there are always some rotten apples. I used to get so irate over some of the remarks and offensive questions...like those from Timmy Green....but you know what? It shows the black in their heart and the type of people they are way deep down inside. I think it takes way more effort to be kind and try to understand things from a new perspective than it does to be totally shut to something and open the doors to hate. You will learn the regulars and those of us who are here to communicate, make friends, and help each other when we can. You can spend all day reporting and complaining but that takes more energy than scanning through and finding the worthy questions and reading the worthy responses. Don't let it get to you!!!

Sometimes it is good to know what's out there and know what you're up against, but yes, I would have to agree that seeing people make comments in this forum that go beyond offering another perspective and instead are hateful, ignorant, unhelpful, or harrassing remarks are very frustrating. I don't go to the physics section of yahoo answers because I couldn't possibly provide a useful answer to any question posted there, and I wouldn't want to demean the integrity of the forum and the question/answer format just so that I could get my 2 points. It would be grossly inappropriate on an intellectual scale. When you add to that personal, intimate feelings and experiences that are often discussed here in the LGBT section-- abusing this forum is just atrocious.

I have to agree. Fortunately school will be starting soon. I truly believe that the majority of people who are filling this section with junk will have other things to do with that first school bell ringing. Seeing as the majority are most likely students who have yet to experience life and can only spew back what parents, friends, or society tell them to say (think about middle/high school when "you're gay" was the worst insult). The rest of them are most likely parents (after all, the bible says "be fruitful and multiply" so they should be!) I can't wait until the first weeks of September, when we will not have to listen to their rambling until after 3pm.

Yes,I totally understand where u are coming from.They get on my nerves too.Everyone is welcome,but if they are only tryng to bash people,what's the point ya know.Why are they even on this site?If they don't want to hear about it they can go somewhere else.I like all people,but i don't care too much for haters.What ever people do to make them happy is their buisness.Well,just ignore the ignorant : ]

right on. why are these people obsessing when its clearly none of their god damn business. i also wish people would stop asking questions when they already have a preconcieved answer clearly stated. this is a great tool for community building and answer seeking, don't clutter it with your trash talk.

Your right, it is very frustrating, but it will probably never end. I try not to let it get to me, but that doesn't always work.
