I have an intel iMac, with the built in iSight. Can I record myself with that computer, and make a small little movie with it or something?

yes.... although i have no idea how updated the software is in your particular system..... you may need to D/L or install some things.... but it will.

Hello longlivetatu,

I'm not that familiar with the Intel iMacs or iSight, but this should be fairly easy (like everything on the Mac). First mouse up to the blue Apple logo at the top-left of the screen and click down to the System Preferences. You might already have the System Preferences on your dock.

There might be a setting in the Hardware section specifically for iSight where you can assign the inputs. It should be fairly similar to the Sound settings that I see on my older Mac.

Also the newer Macs, that have the built-in iSight, had a separate program that should be in your Applications folder. Is it PhotoBooth? I think that PhotoBooth can create all sorts of neat video effects. It will probably be able to record for you also. If not their is iMovie that can do it.

I'm sorry that I'm not more help. Oh, while I'm thinking of it, you might try the Help menu command. :-) Just type your question in the dialog box and Help will dig up a far better answer than I'm giving you.

Good luck.
