Once you get the Edelbrock tuned it stayes there and is a lot more user friendly than the Holley.
Holley's tend to need be tuned for whatever condition you you drive in.
They both are Great Carbs, I would use the Edelbrock for daily driving, and long hauls. I would use the Holley for racing or perfomance in short uses.

i prefer edelbrock. I use it on my 65 El camino, ona 350 block.
I had a holley and i ALWAYS had to tune that thing. It was a big pain in the *** to keep having to tweak on it and crap... plus edelbrocks are basic. Now powerwise i believe Holleys are better there, but only if ya have it setup right....over and over and over....

depends on what your doing ? and what your manifold takes. they both are good but I'd start by matching up what you need off the cam and pistons your using and horse power your after. Holley's I think are better for bigger horsepower motors . But they seem to be more touchy to work with. I use both but Edelbrock for my small blocks for the street
