Do you need mind altering drugs to enhance your thinking?

I never take them or do them, but a lot of people ask me if I'm on drugs. Are my questions really that far out there?

Many ask the same of me but i rarely even drink, never mind take drugs. The cartoons i write are the funniest sickest darkest things ever and when people read them they think i must be either 1. on drugs 2. mad or 3. not human.
However Cora, i have sampled some drugs i will admit and there is NOTHING i find beneficial in their effects. In fact from the point of view of a man who writes his own rule book and likes to has a good imagination i would still ban them in MY society because i find them detrimental to the enhancement to your thinking. I found a lessening rather than an increase of mind power and so i left my singular experiences of drugs behind. Now i can say from experience that drugs are wrong, not just because they are unhealthy but because they do me personally no good whatsoever and i take greater pleasures in the natural things of this world.
Instead of Coke give me the orange-red spill of a sunset tearing the clouds asunder with its shining beauty. Instead of weed give me the fresh feeling of spring water on your toes bathing my feet half way up a mountain.
Instead of E give me the smooth touch of beauty in the face of another human being.
Thw world exhilirates me, i need nothing else to be enraptured in an ecstasy of experience and wonder.
Your questions are just FAR out enough to have me liking answering them.

some persons take those drug to do exactly that ie To journey an altered state of thoughts in basic terms because of the fact you bypass on a holiday /holiday would not advise you do no longer % to come again returned Artists have used them for producing visions to reinforce their skills eg Artist - seen Writers - mind's eye additionally mystic and shamans to ascertain visions / the face of god

People don't get the things i say half of the time they say that i think to far out in left field, I've tried mind altering drugs and there is nothing great about them. Drugs are a crutch for those that think that they need something else to make themselves more in tune with things around them, they think that by perceiving the world in a different way it makes them smarter but in reality it just kills brain cells and stunts cognitive development. My nephew smokes weed and drops acid and does many more drugs and it hasn't made him any smarter or given him any great wisdom or mystical insight it just makes him a little slower every day.

I've never contaminated my precious grey cells by trying them but I reckon that mind-altering drugs enhance nothing but one's sense of illusion and delusion. There is ample evidence to suggest they only harm one's ability to think and otherwise do serious damage to virtually every other aspect of the user's life.

Given that your questions tend to be thoughtful, imaginative and original, I would hardly expect to find you were taking mind-altering drugs. Au contraire, one must be quite lucid to think (or write) coherently, even creatively.

In short, your questions are indicative of a clear head full of intellectual curiosity and -- forgive the cliché -- the ability to think outside the box. Hardly the work of a mind addled by dangerous chemical substances, is it?

On the other side the best question that I hear by somebody in drugs is if I can give him 1 euro to buy a "bus ticket".

No, but people always think i'm in that scene, because of my looks and i have the voice of a pothead. I think like someone on acid mixed with speed, without the use of drugs. My mind is crazy, sporadic, with fleeting moments of genious and creativity.

I met teachers who told me that you can do a lot more (yes "IN your head", not outward life) without drugs that you ever can with them. After 10 years of training, I know they are right.
