If you are pregnant and you bleed it is not "a period" a period is only when you are ridding your body of an unused egg.
Now that that is out of the way....What type of bleeding? Is it right after you have sex and there is just a spot? Is it right around the time you would have had your period if you were not pregnant?
If this is more than just a spot or two of blood then you need to get checked. bleeding in NOT normal during pregnancy. I don't know why people on this site insist that it is. It might be 'not a problem' but why risk it. Get checked out. The placenta might be over the cervix. the placenta might have a rip in it.
I need additional details though to give a narrower opinion.

I would say to call your doctor immediately! You don't have periods when you are pregnant. You are probably not having a period, but are just bleeding, which is not a good sign if it is very heavy. It also seems a bit late in your pregnancy to be feeling nauseous. I don't want to scare you, but it almost sounds as if you could have had a miscarriage and your body is rejecting the baby. I am not a doctor though, so please call someone who can really help. A baby's life is not something you want to gamble.

If your bleeding is bright red, go to the ER as soon as possible, if it is kind of brownish, this could just be from your cervix bleeding after sex (if none of your bleeding episodes happened within 72hrs. of sex, call your doctor in the morning) or it could be an infection...but, since it has happened more than once, I would go to my doctor just in case...or atleast put in a call to his nurse...she can tell you whether or not to come in. As for the vomiting, I had "morning sickness" (more like "all the time sickness") until I was 7 mos...so don't worry about that.

I would go get checked. I was told that if there was any type of bleeding to go to the hospital. Just go and make sure it's nothing serious - good luck!

Everytime you bleed during your pregnancy, call your doctor cause it could be a sign of pre-term labor.

some women get a light period during the gist of it. you may want to discuss this with a physician.
