Well, it's August 22nd, the day nuclear war is supposed to start. Anybody see any mushroom clouds over Tehran, Tel Aviv or D.C. yet?
Let me know when this all kicks off, so I can grab a beer and watch the fireworks.

Don't you just love our press? When Iran said they would give the world their response to the UN on Aug 22, they assumed it would be a military response. Oh NO the terrorists are coming the terrorists are coming....and 99% of the idiots frinking believe the media.
Well we got their response...a diplomatic response delivered via diplomatic messenger...Oh but WE aren't biased...please

You really do not want to see a nuclear war. Younger people are no where as stressed out as people were in the 60s and 70s waiting on the Soviet Union to attack us or one of our allies and we would have to go to their aid. There were (may still be) 12 presidential command centers nation wide from which the president of the United States would have had to lead the country in the event of nuclear, and one of them is located nearly in my back yard. If we the people know of it , you can bet the Soviets did also. In the even of a nuclear strike these command centers would have been the first to go. An all out war would leave most of the earth uninhabital for up to 500,000 years, if not for ever.
We were scared and nearly everyone dreamed of a strike.
Rather than wait for war use you computer to help stay out of war.

Nuclear war will begin September 12, 2006.
The 22nd had no proof behind it. But a site I read did and I enjoyed clicking that I believe on thier poll.
I even changed my user name to match it.

You are right, there is no threat at all.. Americans are perfectly safe... we should not even have airport screening or even a military for that matter... I mean there is no such thing as the religion of Islam, its a made up religion by Bush. I guess you and I are the only ones smart enuogh to know that there is no such thing as terrorists...
