A great leader is someone loved by his people no matter what the west or the united states lables him as.Seems to me that Cubans love the guy. Those in florida seemed to have somehow lost connection with their home country and their people.

for the majority of cubans i think that he is a hero ,because before his coupe his people were so poor .all the best things that were available went to the corrupt government and the usa were sucking them dry,the americans only hate him because he embarrest them,he got rid of the american mafia ,maybe on western standards they are not well off but no one starves everyone gets an education, healthcare is one of the best in the world,so i would have to say that he is a good leader,

I admire the guy. He was able to do with one man what we couldn't do with a whole army. He killed John F. Kennedy after the failed Bay of Pigs Invasion.

I think he has ruined the chances for growth for his country and people for too many decades. When he came to power in 1958, the economic growth of Cuba came to a dead stop. It's very sad.
