Is there anything that would drive a person to say "...so what?"?

People generally care about only a few things. Themselves and those they love.

Everything else if usually "...so what?" It is no great feat to drive someone to say "...so what?" Quite the contrary. It is an accomplishment to drive people to care about something outside their normal realm.
