You can usually increase power with computer, throttle body, cold air intake, and exhaust. Those are the easiest modifications to make, and also the most inexpensive.

Trade it in for a 1999 taurus SHO. You won't be disappointed. They have a Yamaha V8 in them. Talk about power.

anything can be made to be faster. Its kinda pointless to do it to a taurus though. Huge amounts of money would need to be put in to get any significant gains out of it.
