what are their speed, prices

It's all about the interface to connect the drives to the computer: an hdd with a SATA (serial ata) interface has a smaller cable, ATA has a short wide ribbon cable, then you have a combination like ULTRA ATA, SATA II, SATA I, or SATA 3gb, SATA1,5 gb...
all these drives support a rotational speed of 7200 rpm.

SCSI is the most advanced (and expensive) interface used for servers and workstations, support with fiber optics cables, and best of all support a minimum of 10000 rpm rotational speed.

usually the newest the interface the more performing is the drive
