If a cell phone is turned off and goes right to the person's voice mail..is there a way for the owner of the phone to see who has called them...even if I hung up before the beep and did not leave a message. Also is there a way to track private calls?

No, not unless it shows up on their phone bill.

Yes~ when the owner turned the phone back on it would show up as a missed call. I've called my husband before and his cell was off and as soon as I got the voice mail I just hung up because I didn't feel like leaving a message. A few hours later he'd call me back and say "did you call me 3 times?"

if its private caller no there is no way to track it. well not a way that i know. but if it is not private yes the cell phone can tell you who called you just need to know where to look in the cell phone: either missed calls, recent calls or in the voice mail it tell you the number that called and the time that number called. it just gives a number; no name, well that how my cell is.

I use Sprint, and if I miss a call the number is displayed on the screen when I trun my phone on even if the person didn't leave a voicemail. It is also displayed under Missed Calls in my Call History.

it will then be tracable on missed calls feature. on some phones it will log in as received calls. they can find it cause your #was called. erase often. private # is private. only the time of call will be on the phone
