I asked my friend out & she said no & now she feels strange around me becaues she knows I like her like that, how long do you think it will take till things will go back to normal?

It will get back to normal if you drop your plans for asking her out and act like nothing happened. Talk to her.
The clock can't turn back though. Time can only go forward.

well if your a guy and your friend is a girl its could take awhile
just do things without her get a new girlfriend that will show them your not interested

well.....just u make the first change by like talking to her about school or talking to her about like...stuff she likes....just have a NORMAL conversation...dont act all scared or nervous!shes probably just worried that u feel wierd around her and really...she probably donno wat to do..so just talk to her..the sooner the lest akward and the better! lol so good luck!!!!!!!!!
