Is killing right? Someone ticked you off, can you kill him? It depends on you, do you believe in religion, are you a "good" person? Do you enojy taking life? If yes then abortion is probably not the right thing. If no, then it's still wrong.

I would have to say Yes and No. If you had sex and a condom broke, or you were on birthcontrol and it didnt work where you were taking percautions not to get pregnet, or where it was beyond your control like beeing raped then I would say that if you decided to keep the child that you would be a very strong person.
Yet, if you had sex and then got pregnet then you know the consequentces of that action not using anything to prevent pergenacy then I would say that you did the crime now do the time. There are alternitives to abortion like adoption. If you dont want the baby give it up for adoption.

With abortion you are killing a living human a child. It is murder. I have a little girl and I could have never done that. And even if I was raped if I found out that I was pregnet I would still keep the baby it is not the child's fault. So no abortion is not right in most cases. You know what CAN happen if you have sex protected or unprotected. So take responsibilty for your actions and dont take the easy way out. Remember everything happens for a reason.

I am for abortion and then again I am not for abortion. The only reason that I am for abortion is that if a woman got raped then I feel that she has a right to aborted that child. Cause if it was me and I was raped and it got me pregnant then I would not want to carry that child. And for the reason that it would remind me for the rape for the rest of my life. And thereas it may even make me feel odd towards the child. But if a woman just gets pregnant then wants to get rid of the chld then I feel that it is wrong to aborted the child. To me that is murder and they should get put in prison for life for aboring a child. And also abortion clinics should all be torn down and not allowed. Why aborted a child when there is someone that cant have children that would want to adopt that child. I feel like you should give the child up for adoption then abort the child. I can stand when someone says that it is a fetus. To me it is not a fetus it is a human being. That is what I think about abortion.

Abortions should be made illegal under circumstances. If the mother should be physically incapable of carrying or giving birth to a child then it should be up to her. It is completely stupid to let irrational selfish beings make the decision of killing an unborn child because a mistake on their behalf. Safe sex! I honestly don't think that two beings should be having sex unless you are ready for a child, but you can not push your veiw upon the world and have them agree & support it. Please be safe & responsible. [Contraceptives work only 98 percent of the time so practice abstinence ... practice other 'fun things' ... or at least have feelings for the other person & be financially stable before taking both that pleasure & responsibility.] Carry the baby for nine months, it's not too much to ask for. If you still don't want the baby, give him/her away. The child should not be killed. I think it's soooo sad.

Wow, this is a tough question. I guess the best answer is that it is right for some but not right for others.

This is a loaded issue as all the controversy proves. I think that we have to let each woman decide what is right for herself, her situation, her family and her ethics. No one has the right to impose their values and beliefs on any woman considering an abortion. I believe in freedom of choice.

In most cases abortion is not right. In the case where the mother would die if she gave birth, I think then the mother's life comes first and abortion is right. In some cases like terrible brain damage to the ferus, I think abortion could be an option for parents to at least discuss with their doctor.

Each case is different, but in most cases I would say it's wrong.

its the womans choice.
and it has nothing to do with anyone else.
if people dont want abortion then morning after pills should be available to woman easier.
boys can buy condoms at age 11 but girls cant get morning after pills? they prevent the egg from releasing so its not abortion for anyone who thinks that and this could prevent many more unplanned pregnacies.
for people who believe this will let people have more sex and be careless. this is wrong. i believe the people who already have morals will stay true to themselves. such as smoking for example. it is legal but those who choose not to smoke dont. and those who do smoke do. same with sex. those who choose to will and those who are willing to wait will. rather than trying to change society which is impossible, why not deal with it how it is and try to help it for once?

p.s. whether we make it illegal or not women will still try to kill their unwanted babies. why not make it more safe to people than? back alleyed abortions and self mutilations have been documented by unplanned pregnant mothers. you see i know its hard to let people kill a life but the child is already unwanted. why not prevent another deprived child? id rather make it safe and legal then dagerous and illegal. people will do it one way or another. thats america. we find ways around the law.

It may not be right for some, but a woman should have a right to choose. It is definately not the Government's job to tell people what they can do with their body. I have not moral objection to it, personally.

It is right if the baby is forced into the woman or if the parents are not responsible enough to be parenting.

a woman's body is her own and NO one has the right to tell her what to do with it. The morals she was brought up with should be he guide. why doesn't the church and law demand men have vasectomies or castrations?
