i asked the same question last week and had a lot of diffrent answers so i called my gp and asked! she said it can take up to a year or maybe a bit longer to start having periods again but still to be careful if you don't wanna get pregnant because there still is a chance that it could happen!

I were given right here off it in March and nevertheless no longer something! i'm getting the mood swings, the cramps, even with the undeniable fact that then no longer something! that is problematic. I through no skill suggestion i might want to need my era to go back so badly. I requested my GP an same question at a events look at up. He said it lasts for 12 weeks, so the earliest he'd anticipate a period might want to be 12 weeks after the superb injection. even with the undeniable fact that he reported they would not rather do something to help me get pregnant previously 2 yrs except there became a motive, resembling age or needed IVF. So i'm now about 6 mnths through an prolonged 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days wait. Hon, The DEPO shot was the worst thing that could have ever happened to me it took me two years to conceive after i stopped taking that horrible thing, but in the mean time i developed poly cystic ovaries (in which I believe the depo helped me get) but I gained tons of weight with that shot,my hormones were out the roof..the doctors even told me at 19 I was going through menopause...I know that it works for some people but next time if you want birth control I recommend the IUD it has been great for me...But it took me two years to get pregnant with my daughter..

I was told it can take up to a year to wear off but I got pregnant within 5 months of stopping the jab.
I don't think there is any set time it depends on the individual.

The injection is good for 3 months. As far as your body going back to "normal" that is something to ask your OB/GYN

It can take up to a year. If you are trying to get pregnant then see your gyn for a pre-conception visit and he/she can give you something to bring on a bleed so you can start trying.
