Based solely on your description.

I go with slender, no curves.

Why, simply put the slender one will "age" better. She will eventually put on some weight and have some slight curves. She will likely be healthier longer. Be physically more active just because she can be.

The curvy one with the belly will get more belly and the curves will be going in directions only gravity can determine. She is not likely to be as physically active now and will slow down much more as she ages. Over the years every part of her anatomy will suffer from the ravages of gravity. Look at a skeleton. Though it is capable of some amazing things. The weight bearing parts, spine, hips, knees and feet will be under continuous assault. There is a very pretty red head working at my local Wal-Mart. She is a greeter, but she has to sit the whole time. Sadly it is all the sitting she has done that has helped to reach the point where she can do little else. The lack of something to munch on while she is working maybe the only time she is not reaching for some small snack.

This does not have to be that way. She does not have to starve or run marathons. There is a reality to large people, they eat more than they should and need. They typically don't eat huge meals, but pick a bit of this or that all day and night. They tend not to binge on carrots or celery, unless it is swimming in peanut butter or cream cheese. Exercise little to no restraint with food and are very sedentary.

Yes, we are all different. The tendency to be large or small is not something we can do much about. It is the reality of our choices make us live those lives.

Japan has little problem with obesity. China struggles with it and the effects on health. Diet is the primary difference.

Your question only asked of preference based on appearance. My choice of a relationship would not hinge on either large or small. But other factors are far more important. Wit, intellect, ambition and the snuggle factor. I would rather curl up with a St. Bernard than a Chihuahua. But they need to be smart and willing to work to participate in a good relationship, so does the Chihuahua. But I also have to accept that she will have problems due to her weight. All of it likely at younger ages. So while I like the company of a woman of substance, I would have difficulty taking one as life mate. I don't want to have to see her suffer through the years. A broken anke for me slows me down. But is much more catastrophic for her.

If you view appearance as a problem then it is. What others think based on what they see has no meaning.

I'd go for the slender woman simply because excess body weight can cause a lot of health problems. Excess body weight contributes to increased blood pressure, more strain on the muscular and skeletal system, and numerous other ailments that shorten life span. I think women look great with curves, (my wife's curvy!!) that's the way God designed 'em, but they should strive to stay at a healthy weight by moderation in diet and exercise.

Skinny chick every time. It's not a girl thing, either. I also think guys with guts look sad, too. I've always been attracted to the skinny girls, curves or no curves.

I'd choose the slender one. Huge bellies just turn me off. If she's slender, there's a certain femininity in being frail. A huge belly is too invasive. Too gaudy. Too, well, blunt.

Guess what? I did date them both.
Who did I choose?

The slender one--today, she's my wife.

The one that ends up capturing my interest completely with her ENTIRE person. If I HAVE to date someone, it has to be someone that can hold my interest past one date or I'm not investing the time for even one date.

The slender on. She would have fewer health and self-image problems.
