I've been a Placebo fan since 'Without You I'm Nothing.' Their best songs really are from the first three albums: the self-titled, WYIN and Black Market Music. If you ever get your hands on an early EP, good for you. I have copies of the "Bruise Pristine" EP with the early mixes. They're rough around the edges, but so much more punk rock than the polished gothness of their full-length albums. Great stuff.

Anyway, I have seen Placebo twice. They put on a good show. However, I am ambivalent about seeing them on this tour because I really can't stand She Wants Revenge. What a shite band if there ever was one.

I am a very big fan of Placebo, have been for a few years now. I am more into their older stuff, but I do enjoy most their songs on their most recent album 'Meds'. I am going to their show in Las Vegas (a long trip, sigh) and I'm really looking forward to it!

By the way, not all of the shows for this year are with She Wants Revenge (SWR), but most of them are.. I know for sure that Cali and Las Vegas shows are just Placebo.

They have played twice here in Mexico: full guitar driven show, loud, clear and a punch to the face!

I saw them live in the 'Singles Tour' , every cent paid was worth.

Early songs aren't as pop as recent albums, but their work do not get any boring situation as they dive into synth-pop mixed songs like bitter end, taste in man, special K, and my favourite 'This Picture'

As I've listenend to some showcases on the net, they're focus into new album's songs yet playing their osbcure catolgue of debut EPs and singles, like 'nancy boy', leaving off setlists songs from 'Sleeping With Ghost' Album' and cover fillers from The Smiths and Pixies as they did on previous tours.

Do you mean Placebo? Well if thats who you're talking about their earlier stuff, like the black market album was Ok, and still only a few song like Pure Morning and SlackerBit@# but anything after 1997 was extremely annoying
