Like do you have to use something to put in your TV to record?

OK but what if I want it in a file so I can post it on the web i cant post it if its in a tape

Hook up your video game to your VCR input rca jacks and then the output jack to the TV input rca jacks. On your VCR control look for the input button press it until you see the video game screen on your TV. Start recording on your VCR and play the video on your video game.

You can use a program called Fraps, or similar program.. you can run a line to your VCR/DVR, or even to another computer.

I believe Fraps has a free version or free trail but tags the video with a name up in the corner. Haven't used it in over a year so may be different by now.

you can link your console to you vcr and you can record that way by tape!
