The same way you would approach anyone else :). Just be yourself. Say Hi and smile. It is great to pick something to strike up the conversation about like for instance I am a avid fantasy/sci fi reader so when I would see a guy in a bookstore I wanted to talk to I would use what was around us. Say he was looking at a Piers Anthony book or section, I might perk up and say hi what did you think of the Incarnation series? or I loved this one or that one have you read it.

People love to talk about themselves, if you get her going on her interests or how cute her doggy is then it opens the door to a long conversation :)

when you approach a female look them in the eye do not look down or look at their boobs or something just look them in the eyes just ask them how are they and normally they will just start telling you their whole life story sometimes they don't because they just plainly are not uninterested in you if so just keep trying just be confident but not to confident let them talk do not stop them and interrupt them and let them aways be right matter if you know something they say is wrong just don't comment on it be very understanding don't be a jerk be very polite and just remember the eye contact if you remember those thing you should get some girl Friends.

Be yourself and treat people as you would want to be treated. In other words, treat all people with respect, dignity and understanding.
