I feel more comfortable with a distance between me and others that way they can't see every little flaw but I don't think I am absolutely horrendous up close.

Well all the little ol men like to get up close to me when I go to the mailbox - but I think that's just because I don't wear a bra when I go to get the mail - I'm waiting to see which one will keel over first from forgetting to change the batteries in his pacemaker before the mail was delivered!
