How expensive would it be to put basement steps up There is a basement, but you have to go outside to get toit

We are looking at buying a house. The house already has a door where steps would go, but just no steps. Give me a rough estimate please.

Your question depends on a ton of stuff, it is really hard to say. Your best bet would be call 3-4 contractors and get estimates. I would not hire anyone who offered to do it for $150, you need to use treated lumber, at a minimum, and the materials alone will cost more!

Steps need to stay safe for a long time, so do it the right way, don't necessarily go with the most expensive but if one number is half of the others, do not go that way or you'll get burned.

if you got a bubba to do it then I would say around $150 to $220
Get the treated timber at Lowe's or Bilder's squre

I done that redid the steps in the house to the basement and going up stairs to the second floor and that is two different stair cases and a laanding inbetween
