On the home version you can set the workout mode to tell you how many calories you lose. I play mostly on heavy for about 15 minutes and I can burn about 200+ calories. Although the fact that I weigh 240 lbs. might have something to do with it. But I have lost a few pounds playing this. It takes a couple of hours to lose a few pounds, if you can go that long.

4 me i played 4 like 30min with my friend and i think i lost a pound so i would say maybe an hour and a half

my friend joe, who's like fullblown indian (i forget what tribe) anyway he got on a DDR machine and it rained here for like a week straight.
