Yes, You can sell an item you don't have in your posession. As long as it is shipped within Ebays TOS. People sell things all the time that come from other places. Make sure your listing is long enough so you have time to win the other auction.

You could lose the auction and then have nothing to give the bidders on the ebay auction. In that case you would have to cancel the auction and face negative feedback and penalties. So I would wait until you have the item in your possesion before trying an Ebay auction.

No way would I list it before I won and received the item. Because you don't own it, you have no control over it. What if you lost, or worse, what if you won, and it got lost in the mail to you? Or what if you won it, listed and sold it to someone else, intending for the seller to ship directly to your buyer, and the seller never sent it. When you list an item on eBay, it is your responsibilty to get it to the winner of your auction. I would never want to take that chance and risk a neg. feedback, or worse, suspension from eBay.

eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection. Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. The best thing to do is to actually buy products at wholesale before you sell them like the other powersellers. If you want to make some money on ebay, first register at http://www.wholesale2uk.com/ebay.htm

Then visit http://www.wholesale2uk.com to buy products at wholesale prices Only if you are in the UK, USA CANDA and France

Be ready to get some bad ratings if you do not win the bid.

I wouldn't do that as you might not receive the item on time to ship to someone else...you don't know that actual condition it is in...I would wait until you have it in your hands before relisting it.
