Wow...I just took a look at the link as that was new news to me. I haven't watched survivor since the first season, but I will be the first to say that they are absolutely taking reality t.v. too far! Is it just me or don't we have enough racial tension in this country and beyond without a reality t.v. show like survivor adding to teh problem and exploiting the issue for pure entertainment! CBS should truly be ashamed. I for one am glad I haven' watched survivor since the first and will never watch! What has t.v. and the world come to?!

I'll be watching -- no different than when they grouped the men vs the women a few years ago ... although that was boring ... it was much better when the teams are mixed up a bit with all ages, and backgrounds gender etc.
I'm looking forward to it -- I think it will be a good show and I don't have any problem with having people ban together with people they have similar cultural background with.
I like the idea.
I think it is a little controversial as the public willhave to have a bit of angst about it and comment one way or another ... but I see nothing wrong with people of like background and culture, banning together and trying to outwit, outlast, outplay....
It should be taken in the spirit it was intended.... it's ok to be different and to acknowledge and celebrate our cultural differences.
Expect the unexpected.

I agree with you. I honestly do not know what the idiot who came up with this was thinking. I am really offended by this. How about just making the teams more diverse instead of dividing the contestants by race? What will this do to race relations?

In my opinion, it is promoting competition between the races, which is not contributing to the ideal of everyone getting along.

I think people need to stop asking. I think it is a ratings ploy.
