I doubt that either of them will have a problem getting work.
They each have enough money that they dont need to ever work again.

Definitely Tom Cruise. Mel Gibson is an anti-semitic, hypocritical drunk. Tom Cruise didn't do any wrong, just for having strong opinions, falling in love, and getting fired from Viacom. But it's not like he'll never be hired again, he'll have work in no time. But for Mel Gibson, not so much.
I'm not really a big fan of either of them, but I think Tom Cruise wll have a MUCH better chance.

Tom Cruise has a better chance. Although he's a Scientology nut, that in itself is more endearing to his public than Mel Gibson, climbing into a car drunk, driving around and endangering other people, only to be let off in the name of celebrity.

Mel. He has talent and is very gifted. He'll never go away. Tom's day is up...unless he's going to be the host of "Stars Gone Bad!" Can't he afford a dentist by now? Or does his cult not believe in that, either?

hmmmm... that's a hard question.... because both of them makes those unnecessary reamarks...
but id say Mel Gibson because he is more dynamic... he can direct and act...
