take it to a tranny shop and see if they can check it for you see what they say they should do it for free some places will if they tell you it is bad than have them put it into writing than take it into the dealership with the paperwork from the shop and tell them they can either do the work or you will take it to this shop and they can take care of the bill if that doesn't work than call a lawyer

look up all of the "technical bulletin reports" (TBR) for your car. If the same issue pops up in the TBR so many times, it turns into an issue that may or may not turn into a recall. I had an issue with my Honda and I went in when the dealership was really busy and caused a stink in front of everybody pointing out all of the problems I had that was on the TBR. Needless to say, I got $300 dollars worth of stuff, not including labor, done for $50. The most important thing to do is to be educated. Before that, I had dropped $200 for the dealership to "run diagnostics" on my car and they couldn't find therefore couldn't fix my problem, before I did the TBR trick. I would also video the issue of the dealership says they can not reproduce the issue.

Do you have some type of warranty on it still? If so demand the dealership to replace or fix it if your warranty is good or take them to court. even if it is something electronic and cheap making your truck(whats your trucks name anyway? You called it a him.)making your truck skip as your driving, there main goal should be to make you happy and fix it!

Have another mechanic take a look at it and if they say it needs a new tranny then call the corporate office and tell them you want it fixed or you will go to small claims court.

My money's on chameleon,

It just sounds like your fluid is too low.

9 out of 10 transmission problems are solved by having the correct amount of fluid in the transmission. It's really an 'idiot' fix. I.e., any idiot can fix this problem.

If you keep bringing it in for them to look at and there is a problem sooner or later they will finaly give up and put a new one in as long as you still have the warrenty.

theyre not going to fix a not-broken part for free. Just beat it to hell and get it to break.
