Harrison Ford was in all three of the first Star Wars trilogy, all three of the Indiana Jones trilogy, and two Jack Ryan movies. If Ben Affleck had not taken over, he could have been in three Jack Ryan movies. Of course that is not really a trilogy, since there have been four Jack Ryan movies so far, the first one starring Alec Baldwin.

Schwarzenegger was in the three Terminator movies, and at least a couple of Conan movies, and one Batman movie.

Sylvester Stallone was in too many Rocky movies, two Rambo movies, and one of the Spy Kids movies.

Hugo Weaving was in the three Lord of the Rings movies, and the three Matrix movies, and two Babe movies. All they have to do is make another Babe movie and Hugo would be the winner.

Mel Gibson was in the four Lethal Weapon movies, and three Mad Max movies, and I'm striking out on a third series for him.

Christopher Lloyd was in the three Back to the Future Movies, and the two Addams Family movies.

And the actor who plays C3PO, Anthony Daniels, is I believe the only actor who appears in all six Star Wars movies (two trilogies). If they ever make a third Star Wars trilogy, maybe he will get to be in 3 trilogies.

Best I can come up with so far. Is there a single correct answer to this question, or are you just wondering if there is such an actor?

Now this can be a tricky question, because you are asking for an actor that has been in 3 sets of trilogy, a set of trilogy is three movies, so 3 sets of trilogys would be a guy that acted in three trilogys or 9 movies...now is that what you are asking for? In the other case. A set of trilogy, or a trilogy (that's the correct way), the actors from the Lord of the rings, or harry potter, or even Sigourney Weaver from Alien...
