The american dream is wanting to do better than your parents in life, whatever "better" means is up to you. (Financially, emotionally, whatver) And BTW, its not the "American Dream" because every human wants to do better.

I guess it's to have the standerad family. A wife and a couple of kids with a nice house .And not have too worry about money.

a house in a suburban subdivision, a gas-gulping SUV, a born again christian church to go to that condemns all other beliefs, 2 kids, a job at a coporation that's raping the earth, maybe a dog too.
