why does the goverment lie to us?

i mean i think they should lie to us about some things that will turn our world upside down but i belive they should let us in about things that whould be a small diffrence in the world like the truth about alians, sea monsters, and the truth about monsters like bigfoot, the chupacabra , and the jersy monstor does anyone else think so? and dont you think its wrong that there trying to destroy god from our mind with brain washing i know that last one is really crazy but its true for more info about that search: (goverment brain washing) on yahoo or google

How do you know they're not telling you the truth about aliens, sea monsters etc.. What proof do You actually have that they exist? I personally believe there may be life visiting us from other planets, but how do you know the government may just not know? And as far as god goes, I personally don't believe in the God most people do, BUT, the government can't change your personal beliefs about a higher diety. That's all on you.

I would say the reason the government lies to the people is because either (a) if everyone knows it endagers all our safety, yes the government does actually care about us, as hard as it is to beleive sometimes. (b) the government is comprised of human beings who are imperfect which means that they are going to fail, its not justifiable, but they are not perfect and we should not expect perfection from human beings. Finally the reason we dont hear anything about bigfoot is that that all comes from some backwoods inbred redneck who has nothing better to do than make conspiracies up, just like you. Finally if you truly beleive in God, you will die for him and not allow him to be "destroyed from your mind."

I suppose you believe in dragons too? You're a smart boy. Figure out the truth for yourself. If you have to rely on people to tell you everything, then you will never be able to determine if anything is "truth" or not, since anything told to you has the potential to be true or false.

Standard political practice.

They tell lies, they get elected, they lie again, they get re-elected. I mean, come on, 98% incumbency rate in Congress. So that when an incumbent doesn't win their party's primary it's two weeks worth of news.

If telling lies gets them what they want, and if there is no accountability for lies told to get into office, or told while in office, why should they change their behavior.

As of now, there is no way that the government can destroy God from our mind, even with brain washing. We still have the freedom to worship as we please. Just pray to God and he will rescue you from anyone who tries to mess with your mind. Keep the faith.
