This is a question people often dance around. I dont smoke marijuana currently but I used to. I dont see any reason why it should be illegal, it doesnt cause any of the ill health effects tobacco does and its not addictive. Unfortunately, you cant make this argument or any other argument without sounding like a pothead. So, no matter how good of an argument you make, you wont be taken seriously. Most of the people that talk politics want to be taken seriously on other issues and thats why noone will touch this one.

Probably for would give control then to the goverment-to sell,tax and woiuld eliminate a lot of crime and more than likely couild also be more controlled to who could and who could not have access to it.
